Shopping on SHEIN

Once in a while I would see postings from the clothing site SHEIN on intagram.  I would browse their site and add items to my cart, but can never fully commit because of the mixed reviews. A couple of weeks ago I decided to go for it and give it a try. After browsing, reading all the reviews and zooming in on pictures, I finally made a purchase. Flash forward, 2 weeks later I finally received my package and here are my reviews on each item (click titles if you would like to purchase):

All Over Floral Wrap Skirt
e03a5ebd-2150-4a8e-804d-5dc75b37c9a1-1This skirt looks as is on the site. My only complain is on the inside of the waistband  there is a clear button that is positioned a little too far in making the fit, fit small. But that can easily be repositioned with a needle and thread:)

Leaves Print Button Front Skirt
To be honest I was a little underwhelmed by this skirt because of the fabrication and how flimsy it was for a short skirt. I guess the saying “You get what you pay for” applies to this. Would I still wear it? Of course! I do like the print and the button detail in the front.

Ditsy Print Open Back Wrap Hem Cami Dress
I was drawn to this dress because of the cute mini floral print. After trying it on I noticed the fabric piece on the inside along the top edge kept peaking out. I don’t think its a deal breaker, it’s actually an easy fix. Overall I do think the style of this dress is super cute with the tie details.

SHEIN Ruffle Embellished Plunging Neck Dot Dress
(This one is out of stock – HERE is another dot dress I think is really cute! let me know what you think)
I love the print color combo on this dress! I also love that the dots are bigger. Unfortunately because I do have a petite frame the amount of fabric on this dress is a little overwhelming. One thing I like about a garment that has extra fabric is it gives me the option to adjust for a better fit.  With that being said, this one will be a little project for me to fix 🙂

Calico Print Surplice Neckline Wide Leg Jumpsuit
The silhouette of this jumpsuit is very simple and easy. What makes this style special is the colorful calico print. My only complains are that the elastic at the waist was not stretchy enough. It is a little snug trying to pull it up past my hips. And the front V-neck opens generously, I’ll have to secure the opening with a safety pin when wearing this out.

Paisley Print Wrap Dress
Last but not least this one is one of my favorites! As shown above a wrap dress can also be worn as a cardigan. I’m wearing a size small and the fit was a little snug, so I suggest ordering a size up if you’re thinking about getting one. Overall I think the paisley print is really cute and I’m definitely getting my money worth wearing it multiple ways. I didn’t show a picture but you can also wear it as a wrap skirt!
