Fresh Flowers

I love creating my own bouquets when I go to the flower market or trader Joes. It’s become a new little hobby of mine, I find it therapeutic.

I took a trip back home to Fresno this past weekend and found a local farm where I can pick my own flowers. It was a small family owned farm that had a variety of flowers from sunflowers, cosmos, gomphrena’s and more. I loved that they provided me with cute little baskets, gloves and cutters so, I didn’t have to bring anything extra. After I was done picking, they had a station, where you can create your own bouquet. If you’re in the Fresno area and would love to create your own bouquet check out @Inthegardenhouse on instagram and make your reservation.

I went a little overboard with picking, knowing they were only $0.50 a stem.
It was sunny and hot outside, but these sunflowers made me forgot about the heat. They’re perfect for providing shade 🙂
Don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers.
Instagram VS reality. There were little bugs flying around and one made it my eye. If you look close enough you might find it lol.
Getting up and personal with these Zinnias 🙂
Finishing up my custom bouquet 🙂

Thanks for stopping to check out my blog, hope you enjoyed these photos! Also let me know if there are any other flower farms in California where I can pick my own bouquet 🙂
